ArtWalk Opening: John Waterhouse

Anvillator WEB

Motorland Vintage America introduces an emerging new artist, John Waterhouse and his whimsical sculptures at the Biddeford+Saco Art Walk, Friday, March 29th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A life long tradesman, John recently discovered a talent–and passion–for creating beautiful and imaginative works of art from found objects and scraps of metal in his shop at home in Maine. What started out as a last-minute birthday gift for his grand-daughter has grown into a wonderful collection of creatures and delights, perfect for both indoor and garden decor.

“His work is very, very good,” said Susan Roberts Inoue, president of the board of directors at River Tree Arts in Kennebunk. You can’t help but smile when you see Waterhouse’s work. It’s irresistible to the touch, as his choice of premium metals and his expert finishing touches produce pieces of unusually high quality. Please join us for the John Waterhouse opening. For more information, contact the Motorland Gallery at (207) 7106.699 or visit us online at motorlandamerica.com. The gallery is at 2 Main Street, North Dam Mill, Biddeford, located in the old steam plant with the smokestack. Motorland Gallery is just one of several exciting venues to see great local art.
