In 2012, the car was purchased by a collector in Alabama who oversaw the refinishing of the interior and the exterior paint respray. The car was then sold to a collector in Florida who enjoyed it as a great cruiser. The car comes with a clear Florida title. In 1970, the coveted Buick Estate Wagon series was America's top wagon. Original base price of $4,068, there were 16,879 Estate Wagons produced that year.
