For Sale or Trade Classic Alfa GTV ready for autocross racing or road touring. Powered by an upgraded replacement engine--a 2.0 liter with 1750 cams. New motor installed at 35,000 miles in April, 1991. That engine was then rebuilt at 47,000 miles in June 1996. Engine is balanced and built for higher revs, delivering approximately 160 HP. Stock equipped with SPICA fuel injection. Mated to the stock 5 speed manual gearbox. ATE disc brakes all around (emergency handbrake needs adjustment). Odometer shows what's reported to be 85,000 original miles, with just over 30,000 on the rebuilt motor. Other non-stock upgrades include electric fan, KYB gas shocks, Ward & Dean suspension, and ANSA exhaust. Same owner since 1990, purchased from racing enthusiast. Owned by longtime member of the Alfa Romeo Club of New England and raced at club events on tracks including the famous Lime Rock (CT), New Hampshire Speedway, and at autocross competitive events all over New England. Great autocross, track day car, or for touring the countryside.
