Lovely 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Super Veloce convertible. Very well cared for example with 56,000 original miles from the collection of a meticulous vintage car specialist. The classic Alfa fuel injected dual overhead cam 2.0 liter engine runs great and starts easily. 5 Speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch is strong. Both clutch master and slave cylinders were recently replaced, along with the brake master cylinder. Drives down the road smooth and tight with Alfa’s trade charismatic handling. The body is rock solid, as is the undercarriage. None of the expected “Alfa rust” to be found. The freshly detailed black paint is good, but there is some crazing in the clear coat on the rear fenders. A brand new high quality top was professionally installed in May 2013. Very easy to use, you can put the top up or down without even getting out of the drivers seat! The black leather seats are in great shape and show nicely with contrasting red stitching. The carpet, dash, and door cards are all very nice as well. A tasteful modern stereo rounds out the package.
