This 1953 A40 Somerset 3-position drop-head coupe is one of only 19 running examples in the world. It has a MGB engine conversion with A-H 100-4 BNI 4:11 rear set. The engine was remanufactured 2200 miles ago. The vehicle also has a new Moss cylinder head, Weber carburetor, Malory ignition, and aluminum valve cover. The sale includes all the receipts for these services. Painted in two-tone Rolls-Royce silver-gray metallic and black, this classic Austin was recently appraised for $48,000. Also included in the sale are a tonneau cover, boot and spare parts.
