1991 Buick Reatta--SOLD (Maine) - $0

Pampered one owner time capsule coupe with just 62,000 miles. Finished in Bright Red with complimentary tan interior. This is one of the rarest types of Reatta. Of the more than 21,000 luxury cars produced during its three year run, just 1214 coupes were produced for 1991. These were handcrafted motorcars, assembled at the Reatta Craft Centre with a series of stations each with a specialized team of workers, rather than on a conventional assembly line. After a team had completed their portion of the assembly, the car would be moved by robots to the next station. Paintwork was performed on site under subcontract to PPG Industries. The Reatta used GM's transverse "Buick 3800" V6 with 165–170 hp (123–127 kW) and 210–220 lb·ft (285–298 N·m) of torque with the highest output in the last year of production. The car sported a fully independent suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS, and front wheel drive. Top speed was electronically limited to 125 mph (201 km/h). The Reatta was rated at 18 mpg (13.1 L/100 km) in the city and 27 mpg (8.7 L/100 km) on the highway. The car was delivered loaded with standard equipment: electronic shift control, supplemental inflatable restraint system--driver side, anti-lock brake system with 4 wheel power disc brakes, pass key theft deterrent system, front carpet savers, fast ratio power steering, tilt steering column, cruise control with resume, power windows, power door locks, electric rear window defogger, w/s wipers with delay feature, 6-way dual power seats, electronic climate control, remote keyless entry, electric trunk release, ETA AM Stereo-FM Stereo radio graphic equalizer and 6 speakers, electric dual remote mirros with heated left mirror, guages and tachometer, retractable composite halogen headlamps with twilight sentinel control, front fog lamps, lighted vanity mirrors, dual, door courtesy/warning lights operating console, leather wrapped steering wheel, gran touring suspension, 16" aluminum wheels and P215/60 R16 eagle blackwall steel belted radial tires, stainless steel exhaust. Sticker price when new was $29,300. Purchased new at Rank & Son Buick in Milwaukee in 1992. Regular service from 2010-2017 from Pat Doll Automotive in Hartford, WI performed $4245. of service work, including left head lamp repair, lube oil and filer, transmission fluid gasket, refurbish Reatta radio, DTC 41 cam sensor magnet on timing gear replaced. rebuilt headlight motor, replaced front end hubs, window switch. This car also has the original Buick Reatta Craftsman Log, signed by the assembly supervisors and other premium elements in a special case. The records also contain Trivia Note: The name "Reatta" is a made up word from Buick's planning department--derived from the Spanish "lariat".
