1953 Buick Roadmaster Riviera--SOLD (Québec) - $0
1953 Buick Roadmaster Riviera Coupe For Sale
Impressive top of the line Buick Roadmaster Coupe. Finished in Carlsbad Black with Red Leather & Black Pattern Nylon interior. Powered by Fireball V-Eight valve-in-head engine. The Roadmaster (Series 70) came standard with Dynaflow automatic transmission, Safety Group (Windshield Washer, Glare-Proof Rear View Mirror, Backup Lights and Parking Brake Signal), Flexible Spoke Steering Wheel, Foamtex Seat Cushions, Standard Wheel Covers, and Power Steering, Power Windows, and Power Seat. This car was equipped with optional Easy-Eye Glass (P code). Over time, this car had some performance and safety upgrades added too: new brake lines, converted to disc brakes, modern power booster and master cylinder.
Buick celebrated it's Golden 50th Anniversary in 1953 and sold for $3,068 and just under 23,000 Riviera coupes were produced (model number 76R). This car was originally sold by Massillon Buick in Ohio and comes with a clear Iowa title. The horn, odometer and gas gauge are inoperable. The original Sonomatic radio and clock do not work either. There is vacuum leak to the power brake booster (our Motorland Service Center can make repairs). The V8 engine starts easily and idles nicely. The Dynaflow transmission shifts smoothly and accelerates with plenty of pep. New gas tank installed and clean undercarriage.
