1952 Chevrolet 3600 Pickup Truck For Sale or Trade Model KR Series 3600 Pickup. Has been rebadged as a 3100 1/2 ton pickup truck instead of the 3600 3/4 ton pickup truck, 1/2 ton leaf springs have been added to make this truck ride smoother and quieter. Powered by a 216 C.I. straight six motor with a 4 speed manual shift transmission. Starting in 1952 chevy trucks, the outer door handles are now push button type as opposed to the previous turn down style. Speedometer now reads to 90 mph and dashboard trim is painted instead of chrome. Mid-year, Chevrolet stops using the 3100-6400 designation on the hood and changes to maroon window and wiper knobs Much mechanical work has been done in December of 2015, including new fuel pump, new wheel cylinders, a new master cylinder, and all new brake hardware.
