Beautiful 1963 Chevrolet Impala convertible in the same family since new. In November 1963, the aunt in a local family bought the car brand new from Frank & Ed's Motors in Biddeford, ME. The car was always garaged and used as a seasonal summer cruiser only and always well maintained. This convertible was a family favorite and eventually passed on to the nephew who babied the car with the same attentive detail as his aunt did. In 1996, the nephew had the car refreshened with a frame off recommissioning from a well-known area GM dealership. Documentation and photos are available. The 283 engine received a complete recommissioning too, including quality respray, all exhaust and brake lines replace. Rebuilt carburetor and power steering. New window seals, new speakers with a modern radio added. Dash clock rebuilt , new Cooper radial tires, and new seat upholstery installed. There are documentation and receipts from updating and upgrades done between 2001 and 2004. Less than 1500 miles driven since, always garaged and never driven in inclement weather. White rag top in excellent condition and motor works great. Superb mechanicals and a great driver. Includes '63 drivers manual and special convertible manual too. Has numerous accessories, including scale model car, Impala floor mats, jacket and more. Also available separately: a custom cabinet crafted the previous owner, who is a skilled builder.
