Wow! An original unmolested survivor. 1941 Chrysler Royal with Fluid Drive that drives great. Really--this is one of the most reliable and pleasurable classic cars we've ever had. The long-time owner, a mechanic, has carefully protected and preserved this car over nearly 40 years of ownership. It's now ready to pass on to the next caretaker owner to drive and enjoy. Easily eligible for AACA preservation class certification (Historic Preservation/Original Features (HPOF)). There is no rust or evidence of any body damage. The paint has a great even patina--complete but gently worn overall with no major problem areas. The interior is complete and original with some signs of wear that could easily be repaired or left as is to preserve complete originality. In March 2013, we carefully repaired some worn interior areas--recovering the two arm rests and repairing 7 buttons on the drivers seat. Otherwise the rest of the interior is in spectacular, all original condition (there are some water stains on the top of the rear seat but we elected to leave it alone given the overall relative strength of the rest of the original fabric in the interior). Professionally detailed September 2013. The car starts easily, the engine purrs, and the fluid drive works as it should. A real pleasure to drive. For sale or trade.
