Spectacular survivor finished in an attractive teal green and white finish. Originally an Iowa car, this vehicle spent most of its life in rust-free Arkansas. The paint has a fantastic patina, all the chrome is strait and shiny. Serial number is 0H02S801052. Comet - Stamped in the brace from the top of the firewall to the left front wheel base. Decodes as follows: 0=1960 H=Lorain, Ohio assembly plant 02=4 door sedan body style S=144 OHV 801052=Production number. This is the 1,052 Comet made. Amazing teal interior is in fantastic condition. All the instruments work. The manual windows wind up and down smoothly. The seats, carpet, door cards, and headliner are in free of stains and rips. The 144 strait six starts right up and idles nicely. The classic column shift automatic changes gears smoothly. Recent mechanical work includes new exhaust manifold, right rear wheel cylinder and shoes and transmission gasket installed Summer 2013.
