Just over 2000 Edsel convertibles were produced for 1959, and this is an amazing example. Finished in Platinum Gray with a white ragtop and silver, white and black interior. Powerful V8 engine and top down pleasure. New carburetor in 2012. Great condition and mechanically sound. Exterior is strong. An older respray, the Platinum Gray presents nicely with no real issues or flaws. The original chrome and trim are complete, in tact, and not pitted. Ragtop was replaced less than 10 years ago and is in excellent condition. The interior is largely original and presents well. The drivers seat was redone in 2011 but the rest of the silver and black vinyl is original with just slight sings of wear. The black metal dash is very good too, with no defects. The original AM radio was replaced with a Ford AM/FM cassette. Engine compartment is strong. Previous owners were Florida and Virginia.
