For Sale or Trade F250 Camper Special pickup truck--turn key and ready for cruising. This truck as sold new by Casco Bay Motors on US Route 1 in Yarmouth, Maine on May 6, 1968. The truck has the original owners manual and the Ford "Ownercard", their warranty identification card. The truck was purchased by Frederick Miller (1919-1985) of Rural Free Delivery Route 3 in Freeport, Maine (home of LL Bean). Odometer shows 107,000 original miles and is powered by V8 motor. As a camper special, the truck features a second gas tank--the "Econo Tank" from Recreational Products Marketing of Waco. There's a toggle switch on the fllor that lets the drivers change tanks. Features after-market Audiovox AM/FM stereo cassette tape player, red vinyl bench seat and BF Goodrick tires. all season radial tires. Equipped with a Weather Guard steel storage locker in the truck bed.
