This Is Your Life was an American Reality documentary series broadcast on NBC television 1952 to 1961. It was originally hosted by its producer Ralph Edwards. In the show, the host surprises a guest, and proceeds to take them through their life in front of an audience, including special guest appearances by colleagues, friends and family. One one episode, a Nebraska farmer was invited to share his story as a Holocaust survivor. For his appearance, he won this white 1961 Ford Falcon. Benny Hoffman, who appeared on This Is Your Life on January 29, 1961, was liberated form Buchenwald by American armed forces.
He brought the car back home to Nebraska and he used it as a daily driver and then passed it on to his children. Later he restored the interior and enjoyed the car a second time. After his passing, it passed to a son who was now living in New England, where it was kept in storage.
This Falcon has 6-cylinder engine with teal vinyl upholstery. Mechanically sound, this charming car has a great story to tell and miles of smiles. 89,000 miles, with three speed manual transmission.
