1965 Lincoln Continental Sedan For Sale or Trade The data plate decodes as follows: Body: 53A (4 door sedan) Color: M (White) Trim: 80 (Burgundy Leather) Date: 22D (April 22) DSO: Dallas, Texas (district where car was delivered) Axel: 1 (2:89;1 ratio) Transmission: 4 (Twin Range Multi-Drive Automatic) Overall, mechanically sound and a nice driver. The horn is inoperable, as is the clock. This car will be sold with the following repairs made: new muffler, ignition switch, exhaust hanger, fix throttle linkage, choke thermostat, trunk seal. The tires on the car consist of three bias ply tires and 1 radial. The two bias ply tires in the rear have good tread but are older and should be replaced sooner than later. The electric windows all work, but one window moves slowly. Our Motorland Service Center can repair the rust in the lower rear fenders behind the rear doors. Estimated cost is $3000 for new new metal welding in and paint blended in. We can also install a new set of tires.
