1987 Mercedes Benz 560sl For Sale or Trade Sporty roadster finished in red paint with complimentary tan leather interior. Timing belt changed last year. Clean CarFax report shows; * In 1991, the first notation, shows inspection in New Jersey at 13, 191 miles. * In 1999, the car went from New Jersey to Florida where in 1999 it had 29,904 miles * In 2005, the car went from Florida to Connecticut with 53,351 miles * In 2013, most recent owner transferred registration from Connecticut to summer residence in Maine and it was serviced in 2014 at 59,055 miles. Shortly after that, the odometer stopped working but there's only been an estimated less than 1000 miles driven on the car in summer weather only since. CarFax is available that shows ownership in Florida until 2015 when it came to New England as a summer pleasure car. Mechanically the car is sound and shifts and drives nicely. There are a few issues to note: The Air Conditioning is not currently working; it had been working fine but the compressor has since frozen. Since it was a summer time only car in New England, the owner rarely used the AC so left it inoperable. The car needs a rear muffler, and the power antenna isn't working and windshield washer isn't working and there is no intermittent wiper speeds. There is a spare tire but it needs air and there is no jack. The doors both need adjustment to latch properly.
