Amazing Rambler Super sedan. When was the last time you saw one??!!?? This car has excellent mechanicals. Starts up every time. Idles nicely. Overdrive transmission allows for comfortable highway cruising. And just a great, pleasurable driver. Totally rust-free and accident-free, this car was nicely restored in the original teal blue and white combination. The paint is very nice--no cracking, orange peel or major damage. The original chrome and trim is complete and in very good condition, including the stunning optional Pinanfarina flying lady hood ornament. The interior was redone with gray cloth upholstery and door panels. Dash is very nice, and the original turn signal green blinking light works! Seats fold down to make a queen size bed in the interior. Original AM radio works. The best part? The custom Nash swamp cooler, a poor-man's air conditioner unit that mounts on the window. Put ice in the canister, pull the ripcord, and start driving and as the fan turns and warm air comes in through the intake and passes over ice, it would then cool the car. The swamp cooler gets everyone's attention--so beware of the crowds that will gather. The swamp cooler includes the window mount stabilizer. People say it all the time--they've never seen this particular Rambler style and they've never seen a swamp cooler. Two surprises in one.
