1961 Studebaker Hawk Last year of the famous Hawks--this Studebaker has a California title and at one point was a Missouri car in the 1980s. 107,000 miles (odometer reads 7000). VIN: 61V24577. In 2014, the car was resprayed the original Flamingo Orange factory color--a color used only that year by Studebaker. It's a good job, but not a show paint job. There are a couple of blisters on the lower panels. Complimented with a tan and cream white interior and new tires, this Hawk is powered by a 289. Since 2013, this car has had several upgrades including: new coil springs and shock absorbers, new control arm bushings in the front, and new radial wide white wall period-correct tires installed. Plus there was a small patch welded on the frame. The leaf springs are in good condition (aged, but no cracking), but we would advise installing leaf spring bushings.
