1975 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible For Sale or Trade Recently tuned up and repaired, this classic VW Beetle convertible is ready for top-down cruising. In March 2016, new fuel pump installed, plus new emergency brake cable, brake shoes and cylinders. Also new hoses, filter, oil change tune-up. Originally yellow, this car was respray an attractive red paint. Sports a newer black vinyl convertible top (although the original white perforated vinyl headliner remains in fair condition). Odometer reads 24800 miles, though true mileage is unknown (likely the car as 124,000 actual miles). Includes optional after-market seat covers for the front. Purchased new on August 14, 1975 by Florence Rothauser in Wurtsboro, New York and was then sold to Maine in 1990 where it has been used as a summer car since.
