1962 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible finished in sunny Yukon Yellow. Upgraded with a 1600cc engine from a 1974 Beetle. (The original 1200cc motor is included). The larger motor provides a vastly improved driving experience with a scorching 44HP, allowing you to keep pace with modern traffic. The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly. The top is in great condition and goes up and down smoothly. The attractive ivory and pale green combination interior is overall good shape with no tears or stains to be found. All the windows roll up and down smoothly, and the period tape player and radio work. All lights, gauges, and wipers work. The body is solid and the floors and rockers are in great shape. The bumpers are strait and clean with little to no pitting. The older respray has aged well with a lovely patina, though there are a few small flaws to be found. This Beetle also has had three point seat belts added for the driver and passenger. Beetles make great first classic as parts availability is excellent and they are very easy to service.
